Surah At-Tawba
And among the bedouins are some who consider what they spend as a loss and await for you turns of misfortune. Upon them will be a misfortune of evil. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.﴿98﴾
Translation
And among the bedouins are some who consider what they spend as a loss and await for you turns of misfortune. Upon them will be a misfortune of evil. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
Simplified Tafsir
ومن الأعراب مَن يحتسب ما ينفق في سبيل الله غرامة وخسارة لا يرجو له ثوابًا، ولا يدفع عن نفسه عقابًا، وينتظر بكم الحوادث والآفات، ولكن السوء دائر عليهم لا بالمسلمين. والله سميع لما يقولون عليم بنياتهم الفاسدة.
