Surah At-Tawba
They swear by Allah to you [Muslims] to satisfy you. But Allah and His Messenger are more worthy for them to satisfy, if they should be believers.﴿62﴾
Translation
They swear by Allah to you [Muslims] to satisfy you. But Allah and His Messenger are more worthy for them to satisfy, if they should be believers.
Simplified Tafsir
يحلف المنافقون الأيمان الكاذبة، ويقدمون الأعذار الملفقة؛ ليُرضُوا المؤمنين، والله ورسوله أحق وأولى أن يُرضُوهما بالإيمان بهما وطاعتهما، إن كانوا مؤمنين حقًا.
