Ayah 40

Surah Al-Anfaal

But if they turn away - then know that Allah is your protector. Excellent is the protector, and Excellent is the helper.﴿40﴾

Translation

But if they turn away - then know that Allah is your protector. Excellent is the protector, and Excellent is the helper.

Simplified Tafsir

وإن أعرض هؤلاء المشركون عمَّا دعوتموهم إليه -أيها المؤمنون- من الإيمان بالله ورسوله وترك قتالكم، وأبَوْا إلا الإصرار على الكفر وقتالكم، فأيقِنوا أن الله معينكم وناصركم عليهم. نِعْمَ المعين والناصر لكم ولأوليائه على أعدائكم.
