Ayah 63

Surah Al-A'raaf

Then do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among you, that he may warn you and that you may fear Allah so you might receive mercy."﴿63﴾

Translation

Then do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among you, that he may warn you and that you may fear Allah so you might receive mercy."

Simplified Tafsir

وهل أثار عجبكم أن أنزل الله تعالى إليكم ما يذكركم بما فيه الخير لكم، على لسان رجل منكم، تعرفون نسبه وصدقه؛ ليخوِّفكم بأس الله تعالى وعقابه، ولتتقوا سخطه بالإيمان به، ورجاء أن تظفروا برحمته وجزيل ثوابه؟
