Ayah 34

Surah Al-A'raaf

And for every nation is a [specified] term. So when their time has come, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it].﴿34﴾

Translation

And for every nation is a [specified] term. So when their time has come, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it].

Simplified Tafsir

ولكل جماعة اجتمعت على الكفر بالله تعالى وتكذيب رسله -عليهم الصلاة والسلام- وقت لحلول العقوبة بهم، فإذا جاء الوقت الذي وقَّته الله لإهلاكهم لا يتأخرون عنه لحظة، ولا يتقدمون عليه.
