Ayah 198

Surah Al-A'raaf

And if you invite them to guidance, they do not hear; and you see them looking at you while they do not see.﴿198﴾

Translation

And if you invite them to guidance, they do not hear; and you see them looking at you while they do not see.

Simplified Tafsir

وإن تدعوا -أيها المشركون- آلهتكم إلى الاستقامة والسداد لا يسمعوا دعاءكم، وترى -أيها الرسول- آلهة هؤلاء المشركين مِن عبدة الأوثان يقابلونك كالناظر إليك وهم لا يبصرون؛ لأنهم لا أبصار لهم ولا بصائر.
