Surah Al-A'raaf
And when the punishment descended upon them, they said, "O Moses, invoke for us your Lord by what He has promised you. If you [can] remove the punishment from us, we will surely believe you, and we will send with you the Children of Israel."﴿134﴾
Translation
And when the punishment descended upon them, they said, "O Moses, invoke for us your Lord by what He has promised you. If you [can] remove the punishment from us, we will surely believe you, and we will send with you the Children of Israel."
Simplified Tafsir
ولما نزل العذاب على فرعون وقومه فزعوا إلى موسى وقالوا: يا موسى ادع لنا ربك بما أوحى به إليك مِن رَفْع العذاب بالتوبة، لئن رفعت عنا العذاب الذي نحن فيه لنصدِّقنَّ بما جئت به، ونتبع ما دعوت إليه، ولنطلقنَّ معك بني إسرائيل، فلا نمنعهم من أن يذهبوا حيث شاؤوا.
