Surah Al-Maaida
They said, "O Moses, indeed we will not enter it, ever, as long as they are within it; so go, you and your Lord, and fight. Indeed, we are remaining right here."﴿24﴾
Translation
They said, "O Moses, indeed we will not enter it, ever, as long as they are within it; so go, you and your Lord, and fight. Indeed, we are remaining right here."
Simplified Tafsir
قال قوم موسى له: إنا لن ندخل المدينة أبدًا ما دام الجبارون فيها، فاذهب أنت وربك فقاتلاهم، أما نحن فقاعدون هاهنا ولن نقاتلهم. وهذا إصرارٌ منهم على مخالفة موسى عليه السلام.
