Ayah 111

Surah Al-Maaida

And [remember] when I inspired to the disciples, "Believe in Me and in My messenger Jesus." They said, "We have believed, so bear witness that indeed we are Muslims [in submission to Allah]."﴿111﴾

Translation

And [remember] when I inspired to the disciples, "Believe in Me and in My messenger Jesus." They said, "We have believed, so bear witness that indeed we are Muslims [in submission to Allah]."

Simplified Tafsir

واذكر نعمتي عليك، إذ ألهمتُ، وألقيتُ في قلوب جماعة من خلصائك أن يصدقوا بوحدانية الله تعالى ونبوتك، فقالوا: صدَّقنا يا ربنا، واشهد بأننا خاضعون لك منقادون لأمرك.
