Ayah 38

Surah An-Nisaa

And [also] those who spend of their wealth to be seen by the people and believe not in Allah nor in the Last Day. And he to whom Satan is a companion - then evil is he as a companion.﴿38﴾

Translation

And [also] those who spend of their wealth to be seen by the people and believe not in Allah nor in the Last Day. And he to whom Satan is a companion - then evil is he as a companion.

Simplified Tafsir

وأعتدنا هذا العذاب كذلك للذين ينفقون أموالهم رياءً وسمعةً، ولا يصدقون بالله اعتقادًا وعملا ولا بيوم القيامة. وهذه الأعمال السيئة مما يدعو إليها الشيطان. ومن يكن الشيطان له ملازمًا فبئس الملازم والقرين.
