Ayah 161

Surah An-Nisaa

And [for] their taking of usury while they had been forbidden from it, and their consuming of the people's wealth unjustly. And we have prepared for the disbelievers among them a painful punishment.﴿161﴾

Translation

And [for] their taking of usury while they had been forbidden from it, and their consuming of the people's wealth unjustly. And we have prepared for the disbelievers among them a painful punishment.

Simplified Tafsir

وبسبب تناولهم الربا الذي نهوا عنه، واستحلالهم أموال الناس بغير استحقاق، وأعتدنا للكافرين بالله ورسوله مِن هؤلاء اليهود عذابًا موجعًا في الآخرة.
