Surah Aal-i-Imraan

[Remember] when you said to the believers, "Is it not sufficient for you that your Lord should reinforce you with three thousand angels sent down?﴿124﴾

Translation

[Remember] when you said to the believers, "Is it not sufficient for you that your Lord should reinforce you with three thousand angels sent down?

Simplified Tafsir

اذكر -أيها الرسول- ما كان من أمر أصحابك في "بدر" حين شقَّ عليهم أن يأتي مَدَد للمشركين، فأوحينا إليك أن تقول لهم: ألن تكفيكم معونة ربكم بأن يمدكم بثلاثة آلاف من الملائكة مُنْزَلين من السماء إلى أرض المعركة، يثبتونكم، ويقاتلون معكم؟
