Ayah 226

Surah Al-Baqara

For those who swear not to have sexual relations with their wives is a waiting time of four months, but if they return [to normal relations] - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.﴿226﴾

Translation

For those who swear not to have sexual relations with their wives is a waiting time of four months, but if they return [to normal relations] - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Simplified Tafsir

للذين يحلفون بالله أن لا يجامعوا نساءهم، انتظار أربعة أشهر، فإن رجعوا قبل فوات الأشهر الأربعة، فإن الله غفور لما وقع منهم من الحلف بسبب رجوعهم، رحيم بهم.
