Ayah 199

Surah Al-Baqara

Then depart from the place from where [all] the people depart and ask forgiveness of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.﴿199﴾

Translation

Then depart from the place from where [all] the people depart and ask forgiveness of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Simplified Tafsir

وليكن اندفاعكم من "عرفات" التي أفاض منها إبراهيم عليه السلام مخالفين بذلك من لا يقف بها من أهل الجاهلية، واسألوا الله أن يغفر لكم ذنوبكم. إن الله غفور لعباده المستغفرين التائبين، رحيم بهم.
