Surah Al-Baqara
And do not consume one another's wealth unjustly or send it [in bribery] to the rulers in order that [they might aid] you [to] consume a portion of the wealth of the people in sin, while you know [it is unlawful].﴿188﴾
Translation
And do not consume one another's wealth unjustly or send it [in bribery] to the rulers in order that [they might aid] you [to] consume a portion of the wealth of the people in sin, while you know [it is unlawful].
Simplified Tafsir
ولا يأكل بعضكم مال بعض بسبب باطل كاليمين الكاذبة، والغصب، والسرقة، والرشوة، والربا ونحو ذلك، ولا تلقوا بالحجج الباطلة إلى الحكام؛ لتأكلوا عن طريق التخاصم أموال طائفة من الناس بالباطل، وأنتم تعلمون تحريم ذلك عليكم.
