Ayah 182

Surah Al-Baqara

But if one fears from the bequeather [some] error or sin and corrects that which is between them, there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.﴿182﴾

Translation

But if one fears from the bequeather [some] error or sin and corrects that which is between them, there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Simplified Tafsir

فمَن علم مِن موصٍ ميلا عن الحق في وصيته على سبيل الخطأ أو العمد، فنصح الموصيَ وقت الوصية بما هو الأعدل، فإن لم يحصل له ذلك فأصلح بين الأطراف بتغيير الوصية؛ لتوافق الشريعة، فلا ذنب عليه في هذا الإصلاح. إن الله غفور لعباده، رحيم بهم.
