Surah Al-Baqara
Then whoever alters the bequest after he has heard it - the sin is only upon those who have altered it. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing.﴿181﴾
Translation
Then whoever alters the bequest after he has heard it - the sin is only upon those who have altered it. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
Simplified Tafsir
فمَن غَيَّر وصية الميت بعدما سمعها منه قبل موته، فإنما الذنب على مَن غيَّر وبدَّل. إن الله سميع لوصيتكم وأقوالكم، عليم بما تخفيه صدوركم من الميل إلى الحق والعدل أو الجور والحيف، وسيجازيكم على ذلك.
