Ayah 81

Surah Yunus

And when they had thrown, Moses said, "What you have brought is [only] magic. Indeed, Allah will expose its worthlessness. Indeed, Allah does not amend the work of corrupters.﴿81﴾

Translation

And when they had thrown, Moses said, "What you have brought is [only] magic. Indeed, Allah will expose its worthlessness. Indeed, Allah does not amend the work of corrupters.

Simplified Tafsir

فلما ألقَوا حبالهم وعصيَّهم قال لهم موسى: إنَّ الذي جئتم به وألقيتموه هو السحر، إن الله سيُذْهب ما جئتم به وسيُبطله، إن الله لا يصلح عمل مَن سعى في أرض الله بما يكرهه، وأفسد فيها بمعصيته.
