Surah At-Tawba
They will swear by Allah to you when you return to them that you would leave them alone. So leave them alone; indeed they are evil; and their refuge is Hell as recompense for what they had been earning.﴿95﴾
Translation
They will swear by Allah to you when you return to them that you would leave them alone. So leave them alone; indeed they are evil; and their refuge is Hell as recompense for what they had been earning.
Simplified Tafsir
سيحلف لكم المنافقون بالله -كاذبين معتذرين- إذا رجعتم إليهم من الغزو؛ لتتركوهم دون مساءلة، فاجتنبوهم وأعرضوا عنهم احتقارًا لهم، إنهم خبثاء البواطن، ومكانهم الذي يأوون إليه في الآخرة نار جهنم؛ جزاء بما كانوا يكسبون من الآثام والخطايا.
