Surah At-Tawba
O you who have believed, indeed the polytheists are unclean, so let them not approach al-Masjid al-Haram after this, their [final] year. And if you fear privation, Allah will enrich you from His bounty if He wills. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Wise.﴿28﴾
Translation
O you who have believed, indeed the polytheists are unclean, so let them not approach al-Masjid al-Haram after this, their [final] year. And if you fear privation, Allah will enrich you from His bounty if He wills. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Wise.
Simplified Tafsir
يا معشر المؤمنين إنما المشركون رِجْس وخَبَث فلا تمكنوهم من الاقتراب من الحرم بعد هذا العام التاسع من الهجرة، وإن خفتم فقرًا لانقطاع تجارتهم عنكم، فإن الله سيعوضكم عنها، ويكفيكم من فضله إن شاء، إن الله عليم بحالكم، حكيم في تدبير شؤونكم.
