Surah At-Tawba
It is not for the polytheists to maintain the mosques of Allah [while] witnessing against themselves with disbelief. [For] those, their deeds have become worthless, and in the Fire they will abide eternally.﴿17﴾
Translation
It is not for the polytheists to maintain the mosques of Allah [while] witnessing against themselves with disbelief. [For] those, their deeds have become worthless, and in the Fire they will abide eternally.
Simplified Tafsir
ليس من شأن المشركين إعمار بيوت الله، وهم يعلنون كفرهم بالله ويجعلون له شركاء. هؤلاء المشركون بطلت أعمالهم يوم القيامة، ومصيرهم الخلود في النار.
