Ayah 128

Surah At-Tawba

There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. Grievous to him is what you suffer; [he is] concerned over you and to the believers is kind and merciful.﴿128﴾

Translation

There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. Grievous to him is what you suffer; [he is] concerned over you and to the believers is kind and merciful.

Simplified Tafsir

لقد جاءكم أيها المؤمنون رسول من قومكم، يشق عليه ما تلقون من المكروه والعنت، حريص على إيمانكم وصلاح شأنكم، وهو بالمؤمنين كثير الرأفة والرحمة.
