Ayah 57

Surah Al-Anfaal

So if you, [O Muhammad], gain dominance over them in war, disperse by [means of] them those behind them that perhaps they will be reminded.﴿57﴾

Translation

So if you, [O Muhammad], gain dominance over them in war, disperse by [means of] them those behind them that perhaps they will be reminded.

Simplified Tafsir

فإن واجهت هؤلاء الناقضين للعهود والمواثيق في المعركة، فأنزِلْ بهم من العذاب ما يُدْخل الرعب في قلوب الآخرين، ويشتت جموعهم؛ لعلهم يذّكرون، فلا يجترئون على مثل الذي أقدم عليه السابقون.
