Surah Al-Anfaal
They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the bounties [of war]. Say, "The [decision concerning] bounties is for Allah and the Messenger." So fear Allah and amend that which is between you and obey Allah and His Messenger, if you should be believers.﴿1﴾
Translation
They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the bounties [of war]. Say, "The [decision concerning] bounties is for Allah and the Messenger." So fear Allah and amend that which is between you and obey Allah and His Messenger, if you should be believers.
Simplified Tafsir
يسألك أصحابك -أيها النبي- عن الغنائم يوم "بدر" كيف تقسمها بينهم؟ قل لهم: إنَّ أمرها إلى الله ورسوله، فالرسول يتولى قسمتها بأمر ربه، فاتقوا عقاب الله ولا تُقَدموا على معصيته، واتركوا المنازعة والمخاصمة بسبب هذه الأموال، وأصلحوا الحال بينكم، والتزموا طاعة الله ورسوله إن كنتم مؤمنين؛ فإن الإيمان يدعو إلى طاعة الله ورسوله.
