Surah Al-Jinn
And we have sought [to reach] the heaven but found it filled with powerful guards and burning flames.﴿8﴾
Translation
And we have sought [to reach] the heaven but found it filled with powerful guards and burning flames.
Simplified Tafsir
وأنَّا- معشر الجن- طلبنا بلوغ السماء؛ لاستماع كلام أهلها، فوجدناها مُلئت بالملائكة الكثيرين الذين يحرسونها، وبالشهب المحرقة التي يُرمى بها مَن يقترب منها.
