Surah Al-A'raaf

Or did the people of the cities feel secure from Our punishment coming to them in the morning while they were at play?﴿98﴾

Translation

Or did the people of the cities feel secure from Our punishment coming to them in the morning while they were at play?

Simplified Tafsir

أوَأمن أهل القرى أن يأتيهم عذاب الله وقت الضحى، وهم غافلون متشاغلون بأمور دنياهم؟ وخصَّ الله هذين الوقتين بالذكر، لأن الإنسان يكون أغْفَل ما يكون فيهما، فمجيء العذاب فيهما أفظع وأشد.
