Surah Al-A'raaf
And remember when He made you successors after the 'Aad and settled you in the land, [and] you take for yourselves palaces from its plains and carve from the mountains, homes. Then remember the favors of Allah and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption."﴿74﴾
Translation

Simplified Tafsir
واذكروا نعمة الله عليكم، إذ جعلكم تَخْلُفون في الأرض مَن قبلكم، من بعد قبيلة عاد، ومكَّن لكم في الأرض الطيبة تنزلونها، فتبنون في سهولها البيوت العظيمة، وتنحتون من جبالها بيوتًا أخرى، فاذكروا نِعَمَ الله عليكم، ولا تَسْعَوا في الأرض بالإفساد.
