Surah Al-A'raaf
They said, "Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers."﴿23﴾
Translation
They said, "Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers."
Simplified Tafsir
قال آدم وحواء: ربنا ظلمنا أنفسنا بالأكل من الشجرة، وإن لم تغفر لنا وترحمنا لنكونن ممن أضاعوا حظَّهم في دنياهم وأخراهم. (وهذه الكلمات هي التي تلقاها آدم من ربه، فدعا بها فتاب الله عليه).
