Surah Al-A'raaf
He said, "Throw," and when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people and struck terror into them, and they presented a great [feat of] magic.﴿116﴾
Translation
He said, "Throw," and when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people and struck terror into them, and they presented a great [feat of] magic.
Simplified Tafsir
قال موسى للسحرة: ألقوا أنتم، فلما ألقَوا الحبال والعصيَّ سحروا أعين الناس، فخُيِّل إلى الأبصار أن ما فعلوه حقيقة، ولم يكن إلا مجرد صنعة وخيال، وأرهبوا الناس إرهابًا شديدًا، وجاؤوا بسحر قوي كثير.
