Surah At-Tahrim
If you two [wives] repent to Allah, [it is best], for your hearts have deviated. But if you cooperate against him - then indeed Allah is his protector, and Gabriel and the righteous of the believers and the angels, moreover, are [his] assistants.﴿4﴾
Translation
If you two [wives] repent to Allah, [it is best], for your hearts have deviated. But if you cooperate against him - then indeed Allah is his protector, and Gabriel and the righteous of the believers and the angels, moreover, are [his] assistants.
Simplified Tafsir
إن ترجعا (حفصة وعائشة) إلى الله فقد وُجد منكما ما يوجب التوبة حيث مالت قلوبكما إلى محبة ما كرهه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، من إفشاء سرِّه، وإن تتعاونا عليه بما يسوءه، فإن الله وليه وناصره، وجبريل وصالح المؤمنين، والملائكة بعد نصرة الله أعوان له ونصراء على مَن يؤذيه ويعاديه.
