Surah Al-Mumtahana
There has certainly been for you in them an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day. And whoever turns away - then indeed, Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.﴿6﴾
Translation
There has certainly been for you in them an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day. And whoever turns away - then indeed, Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.
Simplified Tafsir
لقد كان لكم- أيها المؤمنون- في إبراهيم عليه السلام والذين معه قدوة حميدة لمن يطمع في الخير من الله في الدنيا والآخرة، ومن يُعْرِض عما ندبه الله إليه من التأسي بأنبيائه، ويوال أعداء الله، فإن الله هو الغنيُّ عن عباده، الحميد في ذاته وصفاته، المحمود على كل حال.
