Surah Al-Mumtahana
Our Lord, make us not [objects of] torment for the disbelievers and forgive us, our Lord. Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise."﴿5﴾
Translation
Our Lord, make us not [objects of] torment for the disbelievers and forgive us, our Lord. Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
Simplified Tafsir
ربنا لا تجعلنا فتنة للذين كفروا بعذابك لنا أو تسلط الكافرين علينا فيفتنونا عن ديننا، أو يظهروا علينا فيُفتنوا بذلك، ويقولوا: لو كان هؤلاء على حق، ما أصابهم هذا العذاب، فيزدادوا كفرًا، واستر علينا ذنوبنا بعفوك عنها ربنا، إنك أنت العزيز الذي لا يغالَب، الحكيم في أقواله وأفعاله.
