Surah Al-An'aam
And this is a Book which We have sent down, blessed and confirming what was before it, that you may warn the Mother of Cities and those around it. Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it, and they are maintaining their prayers.﴿92﴾
Translation
And this is a Book which We have sent down, blessed and confirming what was before it, that you may warn the Mother of Cities and those around it. Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it, and they are maintaining their prayers.
Simplified Tafsir
وهذا القرآن كتاب أنزلناه إليك -أيها الرسول- عظيم النفع، مصدق لما تقدمه من الكتب السماوية، أنزلناه لنخوِّف به من عذاب الله وبأسه أهل "مكة" ومن حولها من أهل أقطار الأرض كلها. والذين يصدقون بالحياة الآخرة، يصدقون بأن القرآن كلام الله، ويحافظون على إقام الصلاة في أوقاتها.
