Ayah 32

Surah Al-An'aam

And the worldly life is not but amusement and diversion; but the home of the Hereafter is best for those who fear Allah, so will you not reason?﴿32﴾

Translation

And the worldly life is not but amusement and diversion; but the home of the Hereafter is best for those who fear Allah, so will you not reason?

Simplified Tafsir

وما الحياة الدنيا في غالب أحوالها إلا غرور وباطل، والعمل الصالح للدار الآخرة خير للذين يخشون الله، فيتقون عذابه بطاعته واجتناب معاصيه. أفلا تعقلون -أيها المشركون المغترون بزينة الحياة الدنيا- فتقدِّموا ما يبقى على ما يفنى؟
