Surah Al-An'aam
Then there will be no [excuse upon] examination except they will say, "By Allah, our Lord, we were not those who associated."﴿23﴾
Translation
Then there will be no [excuse upon] examination except they will say, "By Allah, our Lord, we were not those who associated."
Simplified Tafsir
ثم لم تكن إجابتهم حين فتنوا واختبروا بالسؤال عن شركائهم إلا أن تبرؤوا منهم، وأقسموا بالله ربهم أنهم لم يكونوا مشركين مع الله غيره.
