Surah Al-Hashr
And what Allah restored [of property] to His Messenger from them - you did not spur for it [in an expedition] any horses or camels, but Allah gives His messengers power over whom He wills, and Allah is over all things competent.﴿6﴾
Translation
And what Allah restored [of property] to His Messenger from them - you did not spur for it [in an expedition] any horses or camels, but Allah gives His messengers power over whom He wills, and Allah is over all things competent.
Simplified Tafsir
وما أفاءه الله على رسوله من أموال يهود بني النضير، فلم تركبوا لتحصيله خيلا ولا إبلا ولكن الله يسلِّط رسله على مَن يشاء مِن أعدائه، فيستسلمون لهم بلا قتال، والفيء ما أُخذ من أموال الكفار بحق من غير قتال. والله على كل شيء قدير لا يعجزه شيء.
