Surah Al-Mujaadila
Have you feared to present before your consultation charities? Then when you do not and Allah has forgiven you, then [at least] establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.﴿13﴾
Translation
Have you feared to present before your consultation charities? Then when you do not and Allah has forgiven you, then [at least] establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.
Simplified Tafsir
أخشيتم الفقر إذا قدَّمتم صدقة قبل مناجاتكم رسول الله؟ فإذْ لم تفعلوا ما أُمرتم به، وتاب الله عليكم، ورخَّص لكم في ألا تفعلوه، فاثبتوا وداوموا على إقام الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة وطاعة الله ورسوله في كل ما أُمرتم به، والله سبحانه خبير بأعمالكم، ومجازيكم عليها.
