Surah Al-Maaida
And remember the favor of Allah upon you and His covenant with which He bound you when you said, "We hear and we obey"; and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts.﴿7﴾
Translation
And remember the favor of Allah upon you and His covenant with which He bound you when you said, "We hear and we obey"; and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts.
Simplified Tafsir
واذكروا نعمة الله عليكم فيما شَرَعه لكم، واذكروا عهده الذي أخذه تعالى عليكم من الإيمان بالله ورسوله محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، والسمع والطاعة لهما، واتقوا الله فيما أمركم به ونهاكم عنه. إن الله عليمٌ بما تُسِرُّونه في نفوسكم.
