Surah Al-Maaida
Say, "O People of the Scripture, do you resent us except [for the fact] that we have believed in Allah and what was revealed to us and what was revealed before and because most of you are defiantly disobedient?"﴿59﴾
Translation
Say, "O People of the Scripture, do you resent us except [for the fact] that we have believed in Allah and what was revealed to us and what was revealed before and because most of you are defiantly disobedient?"
Simplified Tafsir
قل -أيها الرسول- لهؤلاء المستهزئين من أهل الكتاب: ما تَجِدُونه مطعنًا أو عيبًا هو محمدة لنا: من إيماننا بالله وكتبه المنزلة علينا، وعلى من كان قبلنا، وإيماننا بأن أكثركم خارجون عن الطريق المستقيم!
