Ayah 26

Surah Al-Maaida

[Allah] said, "Then indeed, it is forbidden to them for forty years [in which] they will wander throughout the land. So do not grieve over the defiantly disobedient people."﴿26﴾

Translation

[Allah] said, "Then indeed, it is forbidden to them for forty years [in which] they will wander throughout the land. So do not grieve over the defiantly disobedient people."

Simplified Tafsir

قال الله لنبيه موسى عليه السلام: إن الأرض المقدَّسة محرَّم على هؤلاء اليهود دخولها أربعين سنة، يتيهون في الأرض حائرين، فلا تأسف -يا موسى- على القوم الخارجين عن طاعتي.
