Surah Al-Fath
And it is He who withheld their hands from you and your hands from them within [the area of] Makkah after He caused you to overcome them. And ever is Allah of what you do, Seeing.﴿24﴾
Translation
And it is He who withheld their hands from you and your hands from them within [the area of] Makkah after He caused you to overcome them. And ever is Allah of what you do, Seeing.
Simplified Tafsir
وهو الذي كفَّ أيدي المشركين عنكم، وأيديكم عنهم ببطن "مكة" من بعد ما قَدَرْتم عليهم، فصاروا تحت سلطانكم (وهؤلاء المشركون هم الذين خرجوا على عسكر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بـ"الحديبية"، فأمسكهم المسلمون ثم تركوهم ولم يقتلوهم، وكانوا نحو ثمانين رجلا) وكان الله بأعمالكم بصيرًا، لا تخفى عليه خافية.
