Surah Muhammad
And how many a city was stronger than your city [Makkah] which drove you out? We destroyed them; and there was no helper for them.﴿13﴾
Translation
And how many a city was stronger than your city [Makkah] which drove you out? We destroyed them; and there was no helper for them.
Simplified Tafsir
وكثير من أهل قرى كانوا أشد بأسًا من أهل قريتك -أيها الرسول، وهي "مكة"- التي أخرجتك، دمَّرناهم بأنواع من العذاب، فلم يكن لهم نصير ينصرهم من عذاب الله.
