Surah Al-Jaathiya
And We did certainly give the Children of Israel the Scripture and judgement and prophethood, and We provided them with good things and preferred them over the worlds.﴿16﴾
Translation
And We did certainly give the Children of Israel the Scripture and judgement and prophethood, and We provided them with good things and preferred them over the worlds.
Simplified Tafsir
ولقد آتينا بني إسرائيل التوراة والإنجيل والحكم بما فيهما، وجعلنا أكثر الأنبياء من ذرية إبراهيم عليه السلام فيهم، ورزقناهم من الطيبات من الأقوات والثمار والأطعمة، وفضَّلناهم على عالمي زمانهم.
