Surah Al-Jaathiya
Whoever does a good deed - it is for himself; and whoever does evil - it is against the self. Then to your Lord you will be returned.﴿15﴾
Translation
Whoever does a good deed - it is for himself; and whoever does evil - it is against the self. Then to your Lord you will be returned.
Simplified Tafsir
من عمل مِن عباد الله بطاعته فلنفسه عمل، ومن أساء عمله في الدنيا بمعصية الله فعلى نفسه جنى، ثم إنكم - أيها الناس - إلى ربكم تصيرون بعد موتكم، فيجازي المحسن بإحسانه، والمسيء بإساءته.
