Surah Az-Zukhruf
However, I gave enjoyment to these [people of Makkah] and their fathers until there came to them the truth and a clear Messenger.﴿29﴾
Translation
However, I gave enjoyment to these [people of Makkah] and their fathers until there came to them the truth and a clear Messenger.
Simplified Tafsir
بل متعتُ -أيها الرسول- هؤلاء المشركين من قومك وآباءهم مِن قبلهم بالحياة، فلم أعاجلهم بالعقوبة على كفرهم، حتى جاءهم القرآن ورسول يبيِّن لهم ما يحتاجون إليه من أمور دينهم.
