Surah Az-Zukhruf
And when one of them is given good tidings of that which he attributes to the Most Merciful in comparison, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief.﴿17﴾
Translation
And when one of them is given good tidings of that which he attributes to the Most Merciful in comparison, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief.
Simplified Tafsir
وإذا بُشِّر أحدهم بالأنثى التي نسبها للرحمن حين زعم أن الملائكة بنات الله صار وجهه مُسْوَدَّا من سوء البشارة بالأنثى، وهو حزين مملوء من الهم والكرب. (فكيف يرضون لله ما لا يرضونه لأنفسهم؟ تعالى الله وتقدَّس عما يقول الكافرون علوًا كبيرًا).
