Surah Fussilat
And when We bestow favor upon man, he turns away and distances himself; but when evil touches him, then he is full of extensive supplication.﴿51﴾
Translation
And when We bestow favor upon man, he turns away and distances himself; but when evil touches him, then he is full of extensive supplication.
Simplified Tafsir
وإذا أنعمنا على الإنسان بصحة أو رزق أو غيرهما أعرض وترفَّع عن الانقياد إلى الحق، فإن أصابه ضر فهو ذو دعاء كثير بأن يكشف الله ضرَّه، فهو يعرف ربه في الشدة، ولا يعرفه في الرخاء.
