Surah Ghafir
[The angels will say], "That was because you used to exult upon the earth without right and you used to behave insolently.﴿75﴾
Translation
[The angels will say], "That was because you used to exult upon the earth without right and you used to behave insolently.
Simplified Tafsir
ذلكم العذاب الذي أصابكم إنما هو بسبب ما كنتم عليه في حياتكم الدنيا من غفلة، حيث كنتم تفرحون بما تقترفونه من المعاصي والآثام، وبما أنتم عليه من الأشَر والبَطَر والبغي على عباد الله.
