Surah Ghafir
O my people, this worldly life is only [temporary] enjoyment, and indeed, the Hereafter - that is the home of [permanent] settlement.﴿39﴾
Translation
O my people, this worldly life is only [temporary] enjoyment, and indeed, the Hereafter - that is the home of [permanent] settlement.
Simplified Tafsir
يا قوم إن هذه الحياة الدنيا حياة يتنعَّم الناس فيها قليلا ثم تنقطع وتزول، فينبغي ألا تَرْكَنوا إليها، وإن الدار الآخرة بما فيها من النعيم المقيم هي محل الإقامة التي تستقرون فيها، فينبغي لكم أن تؤثروها، وتعملوا لها العمل الصالح الذي يُسعِدكم فيها.
