Surah Az-Zumar
And it was already revealed to you and to those before you that if you should associate [anything] with Allah, your work would surely become worthless, and you would surely be among the losers."﴿65﴾
Translation
And it was already revealed to you and to those before you that if you should associate [anything] with Allah, your work would surely become worthless, and you would surely be among the losers."
Simplified Tafsir
ولقد أوحي إليك -أيها الرسول- وإلى من قبلك من الرسل: لئن أشركت بالله غيره ليبطلنَّ عملك، ولتكوننَّ من الهالكين الخاسرين دينك وآخرتك؛ لأنه لا يُقبل مع الشرك عمل صالح.
